PeopleStrong acquires 'Salary and Compensation' tech company PayReview
HR SaaS platform PeopleStrong has acquired Gurugram-based salary and compensation tech startup PayReview in an all-cash-and-stock deal. However, the amount fixed in this deal has not been disclosed. Commenting on the acquisition, Anurag Srivastava, CEO, PayReview said; “This deal will serve to take our development to the next level. As a startup till date, we are serving a total employee base of over 500,000 companies by adding more than 100 companies as customers.” Meanwhile, Sandeep, CEO, PeopleStrong said about this; “I am extremely excited to set a new growth chart as we continue to expand into new markets while strengthening our dominance across Asia.” Last February, PeopleStrong launched its HR Super App, bringing people, processes, data and insights together on a single platform, giving a new dimension to its brand identity.
Let us tell you that PeopleStrong was started in the year 2005 by Pankaj Bansal along with some co-founders. Since then, the company has expanded to more than 10 countries in the Middle East and Asia Pacific. The company can be understood as an HR SaaS platform, which empowers its employees with a mobile-first, AI and ML based talent operating system. Its technical capabilities enable all basic employee related needs including human capital management, payroll, talent acquisition, management and support. PeopleStrong believes this acquisition will help expand the company's HR Tech capabilities while also bringing efficiency and transparency to traditional compensation management. If the company is to be believed, bringing PayReview together will also help it develop data driven talent strategies for its customers and also bring business benefits in the Asia-Pacific region.
On the other hand, if we talk about PayReview, then it was started by Anurag Srivastava and Dinesh Gadge in the year 2017. PayReview primarily works to bring transparency and fairness in compensation management using technology, and has so far added over 100 clients to its mission.
